JAKARTA - The 2019 Festival Pesona Lokal or Local Enchantment Festival (FPL) was held lively which was not only attended by musicians, entertainers, and comedians but also Vice Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Angela Tanoesoedibjo.
On this occasion, Angela Tanoesoedibjo presented an award to Jakarta as the Most Enchanting Province because it has successfully held the 2019 FPL with great fanfare.
CEO of Adira Finance Hafid Hadeli said the festival was a proof of the support of finance companies to a variety of cultures and local wisdom in Indonesia.
"The 2019 FPL presents a variety of cultures and local wisdom. Thousands of visitors come to feel the local sensations, ranging from various carnival parade costumes, contemporary traditional dances, local foods, and local products," Hafid Hadeli said at Dahsyatnya Adikreasi Adira Finance event at Studio 14 RCTI, West Jakarta, Sunday (11/17/2019).
Meanwhile, the Sales and Marketing Director of RCTI Tantan Sumartana said, RCTI broadcast the festival live at 02.30 pm. He hoped the event would be able to engage foreign and local visitors.
"Local and foreign visitors can enjoy the event and it can increase the number of tourists," he said.
The 2019 FPL is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Adira Finance which aims to promote tourism through festivals.
The 2019 FPL in Jakarta was attended by Vice Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela Tanoesoedibjo and various Indonesian entertainers such as Zaskia Gotik, Judika, Wali Band, Komeng, Jarwo Kuwat, Gracia Indri, Jessica Iskandar, and many more.
The 2019 FPL was a collaboration between Adira Finance and RCTI, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf).
It presented cultural parade, contemporary dance competition, contemporary local motif design on paper competition, local celebrity Instagram competition, local foods, food trucks festival, as well as local games and local products bazaar.
Jakarta was the last city in the series of festivals which previously took place in six major cities in Indonesia.
