Sindo Weekly Magazine Rewards Regional Head Achievers

JAKARTA - SINDO Weekly Magazine rewards the achievement for regional heads to develop a variety of sectors in the event titled SINDO Weekly Government Award in 2015.

Awards are divided into 16 categories, namely educational achievement, health, infrastructure, creative economy, environmental, investment and economic growth, public services, tourism, women and children, governance, religious tolerance, integrated service system innovation, youth and sports, food security, UMKM and cooperatives, and heritage. Awards were given to the officers at the district level, cities, and provinces.

CEO MNC Group Hary Tanoesodibjo (HT) said the award was given in appreciation of regional development as a determinant of national development. He believed that when a region is led by hard-working and qualified regional head, Indonesia's economic development will grow rapidly. He hoped Indonesia will be able to pursue economic growth as was done by China.

"We have seen that China, a large population country, has nine percent average of economic growth and it caused China becoming the largest economy in the world. It can be a lesson for us so Indonesia can be more advanced and we are proud of," said HT at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (19/03/2014).

There were Minister of State for National Development Planning / Head of National Development and Planning Institution Adrinof Chaniago, Chairman of DPD Irman Gusman, General Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Yusman Tumenggung and regional representatives of award recipients at its event.
