• MNC Group’s TV Stations Achieved Ramadan Best Program

    JAKARTA - Ramadan program in televisions under MNC Group won in the Best Ramadan Program Award 2015 and Ramadan program Appreciation 2015.

    One of RCTI’s programs, Hafidz Indonesia, successfully won Ramadan Best Program 2015 for Talent Show category. Last year, Hafiz Indonesia also won a similar award. The award was given by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) through Ramadan Broadcasting Program Award 2015 ceremony at the Ministry of Communication and Information, Jakarta (07/31).

    This award was presented by the Chairman of Commission I Mahfudz Siddiq to the Director of Global Mediacom, David Fernando Audy. Hafidz Indonesia is a program featuring children under the age of 7 years who are able to memorize the Koran.

    "Thank you for this award and this is certainly a challenge for us to continue to consistently deliver quality programs which have positive impact," added David. KPI chairman, Judhariksawan appreciates RCTI’s creativity to present program which has religious values.

    "Hafidz Indonesia is a successful program in the context of Ramadan because it could be the guidance of Indonesian society. Parents can guide and motivate children to do the same (reading and memorizing the Koran), "he said.

    The event was held by KPI and MUI with broadcast parameters in accordance with the rules of the Code of Conduct of Broadcasters and Broadcast Program Standards (P3SPS), relevant to the spirit of Ramadan, and entertaining and educational impressions for viewers. There are four criteria assessed in this award namely quality, creativity, originality and continuity. In Ramadan broadcast monitoring, in addition to cooperating with MUI, KPI also involves the community through channels of complaint and appreciation for the program that broadcasted on television.

    During Ramadan, MNC Group’s television stations consistently deliver quality impressions, not only entertain but also intended to increase the spirit of Islamic worship.

    The awards are also achieved by MNCTV, GlobalTV, and iNews in Ramadan Program Appreciation 2015. MNCTV through Ngabuburit ke Pesantren Bareng Opick, GlobalTV with reality show programs, Rindu Suara Adzan. Meanwhile, iNews through Inspirasi Hari Ini program.

    Before that, another program in MNCTV titled Salahuddin Al Ayubi also received appreciation from MUI. This serial is rated as qualified and inspiring impressions by presenting the story of exemplary Islamic fighters.
