• MNC Group Sends 69 Employees on Umrah

    JAKARTA - Media Nusantara Citra (MNC) Group resends dozens of employees on Umrah to Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia.

    69 participants are consisting of 52 employees, 13 families of employees and 4 security officers. They will leave from 21 May until 29 May 2015.

    CEO of MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo said that the participants are selected employees who have good performance and contribution during working in MNC Group.

    He hopes the employees who go Umrah will increase their quality of faith and performance.

    "This trip is not a holiday but a pilgrimage. I hope they can take this opportunity as well as possible for introspection," said Hary in his opening speech at the release of Batch VIII Umrah at MNC Financial Center Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday (21/ 05).

    Meanwhile, one of the participants, Sylviana Pravita said this is a commitment of MNC in pilgrimage towards its employees as well as a reward for employees who have a good performance.

    "It is MNC Group's commitment to its employees to provide motivation by religious activities such as Umrah or Holytour program for non-Muslims," she said.

    During 2015, MNC Group has sent 166 employees for pilgrimage, both for Umrah and Holyland.

    Project Director of Umrah and Holyland Program of MNC Group, Indra Prastomiyono, stated that those programs are MNC Group annual event.

    "This annual event is intended for employees who has good performance and has contributed positively to the company," said Indra.
