MNC Media in cooperation with the TNI Commander to Educate Journalists

JAKARTA - The Editor in Chief at MNC Media met with The Commander of TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces), General Gatot Nurmantyo, Tuesday (15/09/2015).

Led by MNC Media News Director, Arya Sinulingga, they were discussing how media can strengthen Indonesia's defense and security, especially in border areas.

The meeting also discussed the cooperation between TNI and MNC media in providing insights into the defense and security conditions in Indonesia.

"We were exchanging ideas and got a view of the Commander that there are ‘proxy war’ and war on energy and food in Indonesia current condition," said Arya after meeting with General Gatot Nurmantyo.

Based on Gen. Gatot’s description, Arya told that Indonesia's position will become the territory conquest of various parties as rich sources of energy and food.

Thus, Arya hoped the meeting with TNI Commander can be pioneered in cooperation with journalists in MNC media to convey any information regarding the condition of Indonesia to the entire people of Indonesia.

The cooperation will be in the form of public lectures given directly by TNI Commander to thousands of journalists in MNC Media. According to the plan, this cooperation is carried out in early October 2015.

"So that, our journalists will be more intelligent to see Indonesia and TNI Commander will also add insight to them," said Arya.
