    JAKARTA - There is good news for students who are interested in the world of journalism. BBC World will hold a competition titled BBC Future Journalist Award (BBC FJA) for Indonesian students.

    They cooperate with Indovision as the largest pay-TV channel in Indonesia which is also exclusively broadcast BBC. The competition is devoted to the student, an Indonesian citizen who has an interest in journalism. This program has been done by BBC for 13 years in Thailand and went on to become the place of aspiring journalists.

    This is a great opportunity for young people in Indonesia who aspire to be journalists to fulfill their dreams. Two winners of the competition will learn the world of journalism directly to the editorial office of BBC in London, England.

    "BBC is the most complete source of news and this is great competition followed by students. Indovision is very proud to be working with BBC because this is the first competition for prospective journalists to give them the opportunity to learn from international journalism, " said Vice President of PT MNC Sky Vision Yudha Wibawa during a press conference of BBC FJA in Jakarta (08/03).

    The competition is also part of the vision of Indovision that has a high attention to the development of Indonesian journalism. Indovision regularly conducts journalistic competition for journalists and at this time with BBC World, which opens opportunity for aspiring journalist. The requirements to participate in this competition are very easy. Students only need to register and fill out a form on the website www.bbcfja.com, from August 6 to September 1.

    "The competition is very easy because the students only have to tell their interest in journalism in one paragraph and on other things," said Senior Affiliate Sales Manager BBC Worldwide, Cheryl Png.

    She added that BBC team will immediately assess all the posts. Later, there will be 20 students who will go directly to Jakarta to meet panelists from BBC World. The 20 finalists of BBC FJA will have workshops and interviews of the panelists at Indovision office. After that, two winners will be selected to go to London for six days to visit the editorial offices and share experiences with BBC World. The winners will also receive pocket money and a certificate of BBC World.
