• MNC Pictures Achieves 8 Nominations in Festival Film Bandung (FFB)

    JAKARTA - Festival Film Bandung (FFB) will be held on September 12. MNC Pictures achieves 8 out of a total of 19 nominations which will receive commendable predicate.

    "We thank God because MNC Pictures can be nominated in one of the leading appreciation event in Indonesia. It became one of our commitments to prove that we will always give priority to quality and actively develop and promote Indonesian film industry in our production of films and dramas, "said Deputy Director of MNC Pictures, Titan Hermawan (09/03).

    Titan revealed he doesn’t think about the result or how many awards obtained from 8 nominations that were achieved. According to him, the award and the appreciation gained would be the spirit to continue to produce the best work.

    "Whatever the result, we will continue to develop our vision to become one of the producers of quality films. This applies not only to the movie, but also drama series and FTV. We hope that what we produce can be a measure of the development of drama series and movie in Indonesia, "he added.

    In FFB, the beautiful actress Dian Sastro nominated as The Commendable Main Actress for 7/24 movie. Donny Alamsyah is also listed in The Commendable Supporting Actor through Di Balik 98. Not just a movie, being nominated in FFB is also achieved by TV series that aired on RCTI, Preman Pensiun. Preman Pensiun is nominated in three categories, namely The Commendable TV Serial, The Commendable TV Serial Actor, and The Commendable TV Serial Actress.

    One television movie (FTV) of MNC Pictures that broadcasted in MNCTV, Izinkan Kupeluk Engkau Ibu, is also nominated in three categories of FFB this year as The Commendable FTV Screenwriter, The Commendable FTV Director, and The Commendable FTV Actor.

    Meanwhile, the Board of Trustees of FFB 2015 Chand Parwez Servia explained, for the implementation of this year, FFB assessment team consisting of groups of artists, journalists, academics, and film practitioners of Bandung observed around 117 Indonesian films and 163 imported films screened in Bandung cinemas during August 2014 to July 2015.

    For this year, they also observed 30 TV Series and 380 FTV broadcasted on national television. After that, they will assess and choose the most "commendable" in every category.
