“3 Dara” Movie Ranked in The Top Position at Box Office Indonesia

Muvila.com – The stability of “3 Dara” movie ticket sales for three weeks successfully ranked it in the top position at box office Indonesia last week. This MNC Pictures film has sold 138,348 tickets a week in Cinema 21, CGV Blitz, and Cinemaxx, based on the data of Indonesian Film Industry (BPI). This number is up slightly from the previous week's sales as many as 135,860 ticket. The film, starring Tora Sudiro, Adipati Dolken, and Tanta Ginting has sold a total of 370,474 tickets.

Numbers achieved by “3 Dara” increased dramatically compared to other Indonesian films which were released simultaneously. “The Wedding & Bebek Betutu”, a comedy film also starring Tora Sudiro which was released last week to sell as many as 52,021 tickets. However, this number cannot be compared with sales of “3 Dara”, whose promotion was more intense including regular advertising on TV channels owned MNC Group.

Every week, BPI releases data on Indonesian cinema audiences. The number listed is the total ticket sales based on reports from national cinemas such as Cinema 21, CGV Blitz, and Cinemaxx. This number cannot be said to be final because it is not include sales at all three cinemas outside the network. However, the range and quantity of those three cinemas network is the larges so the numbers are relatively can be used as reference.
