• Bank Jatim and MNC Securities to Build New Synergy

    SURABAYA - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) will increase cooperation with MNC Securities through bond purchases.

    Bank belonging to the Provincial Government of East Java is hoping there is a system of mutually beneficial synergies. Director of Operations of Bank Jatim Rudie Hardiono said the current bond buying by Bank Jatim through MNC Securities has reached Rp10 billion.

    "We will increase the purchase, which is important mutually beneficial," said Rudie. He said the Bank Jatim has been connected with MNC Securities. This connectivity is done in the purchase of bonds. These synergies are expected to boost Bank Jatim’s revenue.

    Nevertheless, Bank Jatim continues to increase revenues from the other side, such as developing new products, including Si Umik, improving cooperation with the association of regional banks in Indonesia and planning to release a new product in October, named Jatim Prioritas. Another strategy that is done to increase revenue is to increase cooperation with SME (small and medium enterprises).

    "Today, Si Umik is still our superior product," he said. Director of Bank Jatim R Soeroso said Si Umik program is a special program. Soeroso believed that Si Umik will be acceptable and provide benefits to community. Previously, Bank Jatim already raised public funds, but not all people know about it. "Through Si Umik, we may be acceptable because the customer will be given an ATM card that dual functions, as ATM and behind it there this license number for the business," he explained.

    Meanwhile, the Director of MNC Securities Susy Meilina hopes there is a mutually beneficial cooperation between MNC Securities with Bank Jatim. This synergy that has been built will develop well "We seriously develop this business, " she explained.

    Moreover, MNC Securities is supported by MNC Group in which existing media, property, and banks. MNC Group also has approximately 35,000 employees. These conditions are very favorable. "We want to be a host in our own homes," said Susy.
