Media Platforms Should be in Synergy

PURWOKERTO – Time changing demands media to also change constantly, including convergence. Deputy Chief Editor Koran SINDO, Masirom, said the Internet has changed everything, both human daily life and the media. At first media platforms were separated, such as print, electronic and online. But in its development, media platforms are required to be able to work together as one.

The media synergy needs the multitalented journalist. A journalist must be able to do a lot of things. Masirom pointed out, Koran SINDO’s journalists today should be required to be a journalist in the online media. "It is not easy to change for print journalists to be online journalist. Online newspaper reporters need speed whereas print reporters only write afternoon when all the sources of data complete, "he added.

In addition to providing complete and reliable news, Koran SINDO also displays an attractive appearance of the graphical data.

Meanwhile, in front of about 200 UMP students, Production Manager of iNewsTV, Khoiri Akhmadi advised there is still open for a career in the media world. According to him, to be a tough reporter, you need three things, namely cooperation, focus, and unyielding.

Earlier, the Rector of UMP, Syamsuhadi Irysad welcomed the activities held by Koran SINDO. He hoped that students could take knowledge from the event. "I hope that students can participate in the development of media in the future."he said.

Nandika Nur Ardiyanto, students of Indonesia Language and Literature in UMP said it was pleased to follow this kind of event. "I once followed the events. This is very helpful, moreover we have basic journalism courses, "he said.
