Russia Has Discussed Media Cooperation with MNC

Jakarta-CEO MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo along with the representative of the Ministry of Communications and Information and representatives from MNC Group this afternoon received the visit of the Russian delegation, consisting of Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of Russia Alexey K. Volin, Director of Information Institution of Russia News Agency ITAR- TASS Alexander A. Shilin, and Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Mikhail Y. Galuzin.

In a meeting initiated by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Indonesia, HT was talking about communication cooperation between Indonesia and Russia.

MNC and Russian media companies, both private companies and the government, will try to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with an exchange program between Russia and Indonesia. Russian programs such as Russia Today asked to be broadcasted in Indonesia and vice versa.

"We discussed cooperation potential between Russia and Indonesia, especially in media field, including channel and program changes.
