MNC Group Officially Became KPU’s Media Partner in Regional Election

JAKARTA - Media Nusantara Citra (MNC) Group officially established cooperation with the General Election Commission (KPU) related to the implementation of 2015 regional election.

MNC Group has determined to be the partners of KPU in terms of delivering information about the organization of the elections, as well as other activities directly related to the local democratic party.

"This MoU (memorandum of understanding) between MNC Group and KPU aims to collaborate and utilize the resources in terms of socialization and delivery of information," said KPU chairman, Husni Kamil Manik after signing the MoU in his office at Jalan Imam Bonjol Jakarta, Monday (09/19/2015).

Husni said that with the signing of this agreement, MNC Group is able to utilize its facilities include broadcast supporting equipment, providing a variety of data as well as the availability of speakers for the event.

Director of Sales and Marketing of iNewsTv, Arief Thamrin as the representative of MNC Group, thanked for the cooperation between MNC with KPU. According to him, MNC Group is a media group that always consistently oversees democracy in Indonesia from year to year.

"Indonesia is referred as the biggest democratic country. We will play a role in the publication, dissemination and debate of the campaign and we will help to increase KPU's role in the success of the elections," said Arief.

In the implementation of the elections, there are many things happened and deserves to be reported to the public. This dynamic deserved to be community’s political learning materials.
