• MNC Group Supports Stop-Drug Movement

    JAKARTA - MNC Media Group and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) agree to cooperate on campaigning dangers of drugs to the public.

    To follow up the cooperation which has been initiated by the head of BNN Budi Waseso (Buwas) with the CEO of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo (HT), Deputy Prevention of BNN Gun Gun Siswandi and Spokesman of BNN, Slamet Riyadi visited MNC Group, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta.

    Slamet said, not all people know the dangers of drugs. The stop-drug movement should be familiarized continuously so that Indonesian people will be free of drugs.

    "Drug makes users hard to concentrate. They tend to have strange behavior, sensitive, and defensive due to the consumption of illegal drugs," he said on Tuesday (10/20/2015).

    He said it has a direct impact for students. "Obviously, their mind control become weak and they will be difficult to achieve in their study so we will campaign about it," he said.

    From the results of the meeting, they agreed that a drug reporting of all media in MNC News will show the direct impact to the community, as well as anti-drugs campaign through running text and logo in every media in the MNC.

    On that occasion, Slamet discussed directly with the Chief Editor of RCTI Edi Suprapto, Deputy Chief Editor of iNews Atika Suri, Chief Editor of Global TV Apreyvita, Chief Editor of Okezone Syukri Rahmatullah, Head of News Coverage of MNC News Geong Rusdianto and MNC News Coverage Manager Febbi Aprianto.
