MNC Bank to Hold Iftar with Bima Rodita Orphanage

JAKARTA - PT MNC Bank Internasional Tbk held an iftar with Bima Rodita Orphanage, Jati Baru, Tanah Abang. The event was attended by 100 orphans from the orphanage and also attended by the board of directors and all employees of MNC Bank.

President Director of MNC Bank Benny Purnomo said, every Ramadan, MNC Bank routinely held iftar with orphans and all employees at the head office. In each branch, they also did iftar with orphans in their respective areas.

"This is one of MNC Bank’s corporate social responsibilities (CSR) because MNC Bank not only focuses on customers in the financial services, but also in their social lives. MNC Bank also participates to improve and give charity for orphans in this blessed month, "said Benny at the event in MNC Tower, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (30/06/2015).

In addition, CSR activity of MNC Bank is not only in the month of Ramadan, but every three months, MNC Bank usually holds a blood donates. Later, on Christmas, it also held a visit to orphanages and nursing homes specifically for Christians.

"We also work with other parties to hold free medical treatment in the need areas. For the next year, maybe we would think to hold Suhoor on the road," he said.

After iftar and Maghrib prayers, the directors including Benny providing donations to orphans in the form of bags, books, and other stationery.
