• KPIG to Develop 400 Hectares of Entertainment City in Lido

    JAKARTA - MNC Land Tbk. (KPIG) is preparing development concept of entertainment city to the area of 400 hectares to be developed in Lido, Sukabumi, West Java.

    Director MNC Land Dipa Simatupang said development plan of that entertainment center area is in line with the development plan of an international theme park that has been mentioned previously by the Company.

    "In this first phase we will develop an area of 75 hectares. The whole concept is still discussing today. In designing this concept, we used the standard of Hollywood, including the team which doing the concept. Its base is coming from Los Angeles, "he said recently.

    He said the development of first phase also covers resort development plan in which there is a five-star hotel, golf area, villas and country club.

    Dipa did not mention about the funds because it is still in the conception stage. Previously, the Company said it takes at least about Rp4.5 trillion for the development of first phase.

    He believed the entire construction project development will begin in the beginning of next year. As for the resort development through the development of golf area has been started earlier.

    KPIG has a land area of 2,000 hectares in Lido. For long-term plan, there is a need for investment of up to Rp20 trillion.

    "Our land is very large there. In the early draft, the theme park is expected to raise mass presence in large numbers there. It will be the center of attention, "he said.
