MNC Pictures Won 3 Awards in Indonesian Movie Awards 2015

JAKARTA - MNC Pictures’s movies successfully proved its capacity as the best movie in the Indonesia Movie Awards (IMA) 2015, which was held in Balai Sarbini, Plaza Semanggi, Monday (18/5).

In IMA 2015 the movies of MNC Pictures won three awards. Di Balik 98 received an award as favorite movie.

Angels Pieters with the song Indonesia Negeri Kita Bersama won as the favorite soundtrack, and the best pair was achieved by Lukman Sardi and Dian Sastro in the 7/24 movie.

For Lukman Sardi, the achievment of Di Balik 98's movie has its own meaning. Moreover, it was his debut as a director. This movie also received a positive response in other country, Australia.

He was proud and did not expect to win trophies of his movie. According to Lukman, this is a great appreciation for the struggle of reformation in 1998. "I dedicate this trophy to the reformers that inspired this movie," said Lukman (18/5).

Lukman also said the award is not the final step of the movie. Di Balik 98 election as a favorite film in IMA 2015 is precisely the beginning of the rise of Indonesian movie industry. In this prestigious movie awards, Lukman regarded this achievement as an unexpected boon.
